I’m Your Big Brother, founded in 2014, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization originally committed to MENTORING elementary age Black boys in Northeast Oklahoma City.
Over the last few years, we have transformed into a program focused on improving the Physical Health and Wellness of elementary age Black boys and girls in Northeast Oklahoma City.
The vision of I’m Your Big Brother is to become a pinnacle organization for uplifting the Black community by improving the overall Health and Wellness of school age boys and girls through the game of Golf.
According to a recent study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, “There is real evidence that playing Golf can improve physical health and mental well-being for people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds.”
Through our partnership, we can create brighter futures for children and families in Northeast Oklahoma City.

I’m Your Big Brothers’ Urban Youth Golf Program introduces elementary age Black boys and girls to the basics of Golf in a fun and personalized approach. This program is the pathway to healthy living and playing Golf for life!

Urban Youth Golf Program
Golf has traditionally had many barriers to entry that makes it intimidating and oftentimes impossible for minority children from urban areas to participate due to financial restraints.
I’m Your Big Brother’s Urban Youth Golf Program focuses on introducing elementary age Black boys and girls to the amazing game of Golf despite the financial limitations.
We provide MENTORSHIP that most importantly focuses on improving the Physical Health and Wellness of Black children in Northeast OKC.
What is Urban Youth Golf Program?
~A fun after-school/summer program for beginners.
~We provide individualized and group sessions of approximately 1 hour each. Focusing on swing mechanics using The Simple Golf Swing System.
~The aim is to simplify each child’s Golf swing, and our promise is that their swing will be very repeatable and produce consistency on the Golf course.
Our hope is to build a foundation of healthy living in our children’s lives that begins on the Golf course.
