Charles Thompson, M.Ed.
President/Executive Director
Mr. Charles Thompson, President & Executive Director, has put over 30 years of his experiences educating and mentoring children into I’m Your Big Brother, Inc. He is a former collegiate football player and current elementary Health/Physical Ed teacher PK-4th. He holds a Master of Education in Urban Education and has established a great Board of Directors to help manage the READING/Golf program that will make a positive impact in the lives of children and their families in Northeast OKC.
Shanell Ward
Treasurer/Board Chair
Ms. Shanell Ward holds an Associate of Arts degree in Family Service and Child Development. An author of books, and owner of Monique’s Little Friends Child Care Home. She is also a survivor of Hurricane Katrina. Has a strong passion for working with children and develops programs that enhance the lives of black children. She is a great asset to the organization with a strong fundraising background.
Tyrone Daniels
Director
Mr. Tyrone Daniels is former collegiate football player and long time businessman with Bachelors of Art in Communications. Has over 25 years of experience as business owner, youth coach, and mentor. Offers expertise with regards to developing READING programs. Will also contribute to the health and physical fitness aspects of the program and serve as an ambassador and mentor.
Debra Bell, M.Ed.
Director
Ms. Debra Bell holds a Master of Education in Urban Education, 7th grade math/science teacher, and 2022 Teacher of the year. She is also a longtime mentor, consultant, teacher trainer, and author. Her integrity, teacher efficacy and hard work allows her to make strong connections with children and citizens of the community and offer expertise with regards to developing READING program.
Clyde Thompson, Jr.
Director
Mr. Clyde Thompson, Jr. holds a Bachelor of Science in elementary education and former collegiate baseball player. Specialist with the health and physical fitness and Golf aspects of READING program. Long time contributor as a mentor in youth programs in Oklahoma for over 3 decades. A great diplomat and mentor for I’m Your Big Brother.
Shontrell Freund, M.C.J
Director
Ms. Shontrell Freund holds a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice and Master of Criminal Justice and will offer expertise with regards to legal matters. She also has worked with young children in the past and has a passion for uplifting her community.
Endacia Lyday-Thompson
Secretary/Director
Miss Endacia Lyday-Thompson is a single-mother with a strong desire for helping young children achieve great heights. She is well organized and serves as the Secretary and board member. The love and care she demonstrates towards children serves as an asset to the organization.
